Each of the serving platter pieces is stamped on the underside with the French Government's Head of the Minerva 1 hallmark certifying a minimum of 950 sterling silver in addition to the Boin-Taburet sterling silver manufacturer's hallmark - "Boin Taburet a Paris" and each comes with its own anti-tarnish storage wrap for easy storage. Boin-Taburet was established in 1873 by the antique dealer George Boin and the jeweler Emile Taburet. The firm was credited for the revival of interest in Louis XV style silver-work in Paris in the late 1880s, and awarded a gold medal at the Paris 1889 Exposition Universelle.
