Lot of 2 Ancient Greco-Roman Small Votive Heads c.5th-3rd cent BC. Size 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 inches high + Stand. Two different terracotta molded head fragments. The larger of a youthful male, having wide open eyes, a slight smile and dimpled chin. Overall light weathering and surface deposits. Together with Greco-Roman example depicting a youthful female with a fancy striated updo. Overall scattered encrusted surface deposits. Custom hardwood block bases. Provenance: Emily & Walter Mead Collection, Santa Fe, NM., active 1960’s - 1990’s. (Mead Paper Corporation family).
