A carved carnelian stone intaglio. The seal is a copy of a coronation medal made by Sebastian Leclerc for Henry IV of France and Marie de Medici, 1600s. The intaglio depicts a goddess and putto at the altar, with inscriptions Altera Regni Magni Spes, One of the Hopes of a Great Reign, and the name of god in Hebrew above them.
