A vintage Russian hand painted porcelain figurine Vasili Tyorkin depicting a Soviet soldier sitting on a stump and playing harmonica. Authors of the original model: sculptor Sergei Velikhov and artist Elizabeth Lupanova. Marked at the bottom of the blue overglaze mark Lomonosov Porcelain Factory, USSR. Circa the 1950s. Vasili Tyorkin is a poem by Aleksandr Tvardovsky, 1910 to 1971, showing an ordinary soldier in the German-Soviet War.
