Brazilian mish-mash of stories culled from Atlas's Uncanny Tales #s 8 and 9. At the same time that Gorrion was publishing these Portuguese translations of old Atlas horror stories, Marvel was recycling the same material in the U.S.A. Several stories in this mag were reprinted in the 1973 revival of Marvel's Uncanny Tales, thanks to a 1971 Comics Code revision which allowed "vampires, ghouls and werewolves... when handled in the classic tradition." This easing of strictures enabled Marvel to publish a slew of Stateside pre-Code reprint rags in the '70s, with titles like Dead of Night, Vault of Evil, Chamber of Chills, Crypt of Shadows, Beware, Weird Wonder Tales, and Uncanny Tales from the Grave.
