1) Circular goniometer, c. 1930, Salmoiraghi, Milan, steel, with accessories in box. - 2) Box bussole, brass, length 7 in. - 3) 2 early plane table alidades, c. 1830, brass, with sight vanes and object vanes, one with plumb and angle scale. - 4) Pocket protractor, c. 1880, "Patentiertes Tascheninstrument zum Nivellieren und Winkelmessen" (Patented pocket instrument for levelling and angle measurement), brass, optics with cardanic suspension, rotating scale, height with handle only 4 ½ in. - 5) English sector, boxwood, circular brass hinge, with several scales. - 6) 5 four-fold boxwood rules, each with brass arch joint at the center and two brass hinges, divided in inches. - 7) Caliper, England, boxwood and brass. - 8) Plane table alidade, Germany, lacquered and oxidized brass, telescope with rack-and-pinion focussing, length 15 ¾ in., dust cap, silver scales, one bubble level, clear optics. - 9) Spherical cross, original lacquered brass, 7 in. high. - 10) Protractor, made by Keinath, Tübingen, Germany, brass, with 2 diopters and plummet. - And: 11) Pocket aneroid barometer, Switzerland, late 19th century, marked "Th.
