Stansfield's debut album produced the global hit "All Around the World", which reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, #1 in the UK and many other countries and also won a Ivor Novello award. Other singles included "This Is the Right Time", "Live Together", and "What Did I Do to You?" The album peaked at #9 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and #2 in the UK. Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation RIAA Platinum award that would have been manufactured in 1990, making it approximately 33 years old. It is presented to radio industry talent Bill Berger, who was at New Jersey station WFMU for over three decades.

The award is in Excellent condition with only very, very minor mars on frame and plexiglass. The backing paper is original with Creative Glassics manufacturer label.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear.
