Albert Earnest 'Beanie' Backus (1906-1990) Indian River School Founder, Florida Art Hall of Fame Artist and Florida Highwaymen Mentor. Oil painting 'Grazing on the Farm' on Upson board. A rare, early farm scene with multiple full-size cows, a creek, barns and a farmer on a tractor. Beautiful depth and composition, with original frame. Signed lower right (appears faint due to gray paint on gray/green background), includes provenance of the Backus Museum apprailsal/ COA paperwork on the back. 15 x 31.5 inch (20 x 36 inch with frame)
