Backus, Albert Ernest "Beanie" (1906 ?- 1990) Indian river school, Florida Artist. Oil Painting on Panel. Featuring a Monstera deliciosa (Swiss cheese plant) on one side and a Petra Croton on the other side. Signed lower right (Monstera side). Two sided panel created by Backus and painted as a prop. This famous craft has been the delight of much speculation as to it's true function as it has passed through the market over the years. Images on each side are 47x28 and framed in Bamboo to an overall dimension of 38x58. Condition: Very Fine
