Description
SOUTH CAROLINA VICTORIAN NEEDLEWORK PICTURE, wool on felt, central bouquet of flowers in polychrome thread on a black ground. Writing to back wood panel, reading "Made in / 1858 / By / Linnie Cooper / who later / married / George James / Graham". Housed under glass in original frame. Circa 1858. 19 1/2" x 25 1/2" sight, 22 1/2" x 28 5/8" OA.

Condition
Some toning and fading, scattered losses to wool thread, felt with several scattered small holes, frame with wear and scratches, some flaking to edges, slight warping of back panels. Not examined out of frame.
