Hanae Mori, Two Dresses and One Cape, 1970s

This lot contains two dresses and one cape.

THE FIRST
Dress and cape made of the same printed flora and fauna pattern in blue, purple, and pink. When worn, the patterns on the cape and dress align. The long dress has thin straps, a fitted torso, and squared hem with a slit up each side seam. The dress is closed with a center back zipper. The flowing cape is made with a slit up the center back and closes at the center front neck.

THE SECOND

Condition:
THE FIRST
The dress is in good condition with discoloration in the underarms and a small spot near the right chest. The shoulder straps appear to have been moved and a spot in the lining near the chest. The cape is in poor condition with discoloration around the neckline and shoulders with some small pin holes in the same area.
THE SECOND
The overall condition of the dress and belt is good with a small snag in the fabric on the back left shoulder.
