Chinese Famille Rose Peacock Porcelain Amphora Vase. This vase has a flaring mouth-rim, a long cylindrical neck, a sloping shoulder with archaic dragon head grip, a downward tapering drum abdomen, and a ring splayed foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in turquoise base color which contrast against famille rose color depicted of beautiful peacock above rocky bellow abundant flowers bloom tree and Chinese calligraphy lettering inscriptions poems, followed with artist's signature and iron-red seals on the left side. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue square lines. Made in The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
