Description

An early, double guard frame made by Parmelee & Bonnell in Buffalo, but not hallmarked. The lid reflector is nicely embossed "E.R.R." in characteristic P&B serif font. There are a pair of 1871 dates stamped into the reflector as expected. The bayonet base is correct for this model and has a glass fount with a no. 1 ratchet burner affixed. Metal condition is real nice. The lantern is clean, protected, and display-ready. The globe is a gorgeous unmarked cobalt blue New England barrel with an expected dark translucence. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 5 - 3/4" x 5 - 3/4" x 11".
