Titled Johannisabend, St. Johns Eve, on the backside. Signed by the artist in the lower right, A. Heer. Blue beehive hallmark is on the backside. Heer or Herr was an artistic family that at the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory for generations. One of the most important Heer family members was Claudius Herr who was considered one of the best figure painters of the early 19th century.
