Excavated Confederate Virginia button found on private property (with permission) near Spangler Farm at Gettysburg, PA. The button is preserved with the clump of dirt it was found in and the inventory note of digger Ron Stonelake. Stonelake’s record indicates the button was recovered south of Spangler’s Farm in 1986.
Interesting relic of the most well-known and important battle fought on American soil.
