Description
ca. 1890, hand-stitching throughout. The 42 star flag was only represented the addition of Washington state, on July 3rd, one day before the flag becoming official, Idaho became the 43rd state. The canton flag features six rows of seven stars each, all hand sewn on both sides of cotton. The flag itself appears to be made of wool, with handsewn eyelets.
