Description
Native American, Southwestern United States, Arizona, Hohokam, ca. 10th to 15th century CE. A hand-built redware pottery vessel with two spherical chambers connected via a central channel. The highly burnished surfaces exhibit smooth textures that would have perhaps been quite lustrous when first created. Size: 8.625" L x 3.875" W x 4.7" H (21.9 cm x 9.8 cm x 11.9 cm)

Condition
Repair and restoration to areas of one vessel rim, with resurfacing and overpainting along new material and break lines. Light abrasions and earthen deposits. Nice preservation to overall form. Old collection labels beneath both vessels.
