Description
Sherrie Levine (American, b. 1947) after Edgar Degas (French, 1834-1917). Group of five sepia-toned photo-lithographs from the 1987 series "After Edgar Degas," depicting Degas' works: "In a Cafe (The Absinthe Drinker," 1875-1876; a depiction of two resting ballet dancers; "Repasseuses (Woman Ironing)," 1884-86; "Racehorses (Leaving the Weighing)," ca. 1874; and "Cafe-Concert at Les Ambassadeurs," 1877. Each 18 of an edition of 25.

Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
