An attractive pair of pottery footed vessels, each boasting an exterior adorned with horizontal bands of black, negative resist decoration atop a red ground. Both sitting upon flared feet, the larger dish displays a conical bowl with a broad rim, while the more petite presents a hemispherical bowl with a gently flared rim. Minor chips to rim of more petite dish and foot of larger dish. Both have expected surface wear with a few abrasions. Otherwise, both are intact and excellent with liberal remains of pigments and nice manganese deposits.
