Description
Figurine of the Egyptian God Hor in ancient Egyptian, a falcon god whose right eye was the sun or morning star representing strength and quintessence, and whose left eye was the moon or evening star representing healing. Falcon cults were widespread in Egypt from late predynastic times. Good vintage condition.
On the crown you can see a scarab beetle. The scarab beetle (kheper) was one of the most popular amulets in ancient Egypt, as the insect was a symbol of the sun god Ra.
