Eldred Wheeler Child's Cherry Chest on Frame
late 20th century, in the Queen Anne taste, the miniature piece in two parts, the dovetailed case with a molded cornice over a fan-carved drawer with a bank of four drawers below, on a base with a scalloped apron and cabriole legs on pad feet, stamped "Eldred Wheeler" and retaining a paper "Eldred Wheeler, Hanover, Mass." label.

Notes: The company was founded in 1978 by Bill Wheeler and Emmett Eldred. They produced hardwood reproductions of early American furniture using traditional techniques and models.
