This is a pair of New York Railways hat badges. One is for a conductor and is numbered 1874, while the second is for a motorman and is numbered 1301. Both are enameled in white with black letters, while the badges themselves are both brass and made by Heeren Brothers in Pittsburgh, PA. Two nice pieces!
