Description

Pair (2) of Continental Renaissance Revival burlwood veneer pedestals, square form with projecting front corners, carved frieze above front panels with surround molding flanked by fully turned columns on a molded base with shaped skirt and projecting front legs, paneled sides and unfinished backs. 34" H x 18" W x 16" D. Late 19th century.

The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.

Condition

Both tops with sun fading and wear, one with one molding element missing on the front center panel, some vertical wood shrinkage noted. Tideline to back of one pedestal.
