Chinoiserie inspired Renaissance revival metallic weft brocade on grey satin ground w/ square neck edged w/ mm lace, grey silk chiffon hanging elbow length sleeve embroidered w/ rhinestones, metallic & crystal beads, black silk tulle meandering sash from back of right SS to wired floral panache at left front W embroidered w/ short bugle beads, lame’ thread & mirrored faceted paillettes, silk taffeta lining, label “C. Worth” #47553, (minor cosmetic alterations, minor tarnish/tiny pulls to metallic thread, light stains up to 1”, damaged sequins on panache, minor bead/stone loss/few tiny holes sleeves, shattering tulle sleeve lining & black trim, train hem discolored, 2” tear in tulle left underarm, sleeve discoloration, museum label sewn in bodice) good-very good.
