Signed to lower left. Soulard neighborhood (St. Louis, Missouri) neighborhood scene of red brick homes with children playing in the front yard alongside a blue car parked in the driveway. Certificate of Authenticity affixed to verso from VB Gallery with local award notations.

Estock was born in Yonkers, New York. In 1971, he studied painting at Washington University Art School in St. Louis. Estock also studied portraiture with Viktor De Jenney. Prior to moving to St. Louis in 1950, he lived in Buffalo, New York, where he worked for Allied Chemical Company. While living in St. Louis, he worked at Monsanto Company until his retirement in 1982 to devote full time to painting. His work was largely inspired by the streets and alleys of South St. Louis and Soulard neighborhoods. A regular at the St. Louis Art Fair, his work is also found in the Brown Shoe Collection, St. Louis University Collection, and many private collections across St. Louis. He was a member of the St. Louis Artists' Guild, Art St. Louis, and Allied Artists of America.
