Structurally sound. The top has been sanded and lacking finish, it recently had a later walnut board added that has been removed. The base molding and turned feet were likely added during the second half of the 19th century, they show good age and oxidation, but are no original. The brass hardware are later replacements and some drawers have a second set of holes drilled to take the current hardware. originals holes. The brass batwing pulls hide centrally drilled holes on the top three small drawers. The two short drawers have plugged holes to the drawer fronts.
