Description
A Pennsylvania Chippendale Walnut Tall Chest, fourth quarter 18th century, having three short drawers over two drawers fitted with Quaker locks above four graduated long drawers, with full depth dust boards, raised on bracket feet.

Condition
Structurally sound. Retaining an old Surface. Vertical age and shrinkage cracks to either side of case. The top with age cracks and old minor filling-in. The brass hardware appears to be original with no other holes to drawer fronts. The bracket feet with later late 19th/early 20th century added square blocks fastened by screws. The foot facings with some old breaks and repairs. Some elements to the feet with replacements and repairs. Typical dings, dents, scuffs, Surface scratches and small losses overall.
