A Pennsylvania Chippendale Walnut 3/4 Tall Chest of Drawers, Third Quarter 18th Century, the molded cornice above three over two short drawers and four graduated long drawers below, raised on tall shaped bracket feet.

Tulip poplar, oak secondary woods. Full dust boards throughout. Dovetailed drawers with tulip poplar sides and bottoms fastened with wood pegs. Structurally sound. General marks, wear, scuffs, nicks, surface scratches and small losses. The top left drawers with a glued repair to the lower molded edge on drawer face. The brass hardware is period and in original holes. Vertical age cracks to side of case. The feet are original and retain three glue blocks (one not attached, but retained). No keys.
