This is a very limited production US Navy Mark V divers knife made by Diving Equipment & Supply Company (DESCO). This knife is slightly different from the standard US Navy divers knife and was made for display purposes. DESCO only produced 200 of these knives, with this one being number 108. That number is clearly stamped on the brass knife handle and brass sheath, both matching. This impressive model was also made with a brass blade and the DESCO name cast into one side of the handle. This example has not been polished or cleaned in a long time. If so desired, a little brass polish would make this entire knife shine like brand new again. Besides a few fingerprints on the brass blade, the knife is in beautiful condition.
