Description

Chinese 19th C Carved Wood Architectural Panel from a doorway or bed-top in mortise & tenon construction, carved with a central round panel with Fu Dogs, Puppies and Brocade Ball, flanked by panels with opposing pairs of horses under trees and interspersed with small carvings of vases and auspicious objects. Height 10 inches (25.5 cm.) X approximate width 66 1/2 inches (169 cm.).

Now stripped of original polished finish with a few cracks, worm holes and shrinkage to joins.
