Title: MUSEUM QUALITY Victorian Silk Crazy Quilt d. 1886

Material: Silk

Dimension [INCHES]: 52" X 76"

Provenance: Silk Victorian tied crazy quilt, all hand stitched with heaving embroidered flowers, birds, animals, and other embellishments. One piece is a ribbon from the Republican State Convention: "Delegate, August 25th 1886." The back is a deep burgundy silk fabric, and the batting is thin. It has gold cording around the edge. Came out of Hancock County, Ohio.
