FOUR MEXICAN TIN RETABLOS
Mexican, 18th or 19th century, oil on tin. Laminas/votive paintings, each depicting the Santo Nino de Atocha in varying fashions, consistently wearing the characteristic feathered hat, holding basket and shepherd's crook hung with a water gourd, and flanked by two flower vases. One with unusual cut and flanked by crosses (one since lost), likely older and possibly on copper.
Largest: 14 x 10 in. (35.56 x 25.40 cm.)
