Ancient Pre Columbian Narino Rare Goured-Form Bullet Jar c.800-1500 AD. Size 9 7/8 inches high. Western coast, Columbia, Narino. Large, hand built, bullet-style polychrome vessel in the shape of a native gourd with a bullet-formed bottom, the walls beautifully finished in a hues of red, black, and brown, the head a prominent red brown hue that has an opening and smaler hole which formed as a whistle. The whistle currently is inopperative. Provenance: Provenance: Private Collection of C. Enrique Sanches, Archeologist.
