Cartes de visite archive, each measuring 2.5" x 4", various places, undated. A group of fourteen photographs depicting notables of the Civil War and Reconstruction era, including first lady Mary Todd Lincoln, Secretary of State William H. Seward, actress Maggie Mitchell, Senator Charles Sumner, and many more. Varying degrees of toning, surface foxing, and creasing throughout, else very fine- an expansive grouping.
