Known as one of the most influential caricaturists in history, Hirschfeld went on to capture countless celebrities and Broadway stars with little more than his expressive black lines; a career with the NY Times spanning 75 years.

"Kabuki: Bunraki" stands apart as it was one of the few capturing a performance by actors. Again superb colors in this lithograph signed in pencil by Hirschfeld on the far right bottom corner and numbered 181/275.
