Circa 1930, very rare and important porcelain dinnerware decorated with raised gilt and hand-painted with various scenes from Wagner's operas, with blue lamb marks, "Dresden / Made in Saxony", most with hand-painted titles, and all with gilt acorn or circle marks, comprising 10 double-handle soup bowls (2 Parsifal, 1 Gotterdammerung, 1 Walkure, 1 Rheingold, 1 Siegfried, 1 Fliegender Hollaender, 1 untitled showing a man with harp; 1 untitled showing a woman swooning; and 1 untitled showing a man kneeling before a woman in a yellow dress); 9 cups (1 Tannhauser; 1 Fliegender Hollander; 1 Rheingold; 1 Meistersinger; 1 Rienzi; 1 Siegfried; 1 Parsifal; 1 Gotterdammerung; and 1 Die Feen); and 10 saucers with swan and harp decoration and stylized monograms
