Description
Painted Miniature Bucket,
probably Cotton Hersey, Hingham, Massachusetts, c. 1850.
Firkin form with pegged swing handle, copper-tacked hoops, and bottom joined to staves with square pegs, with flange and conforming hooped lid, stamped 'C.H.' on top, all with exterior dark green paint 5cm in diameter, 7cm high (2 1/2in in diameter, 3in high).
