Description

An estate collection with five (5) Victorian 19th Century antique English engravings. Various artists, printers, and subjects. Includes: one (1) titled, "The Bay of Baiae," after Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851), originally published 1859 to 1861, engraved by Robert Brandard (1805-1862), having printed antique label with title to verso; one (1) titled, "The Nelson Column: Trafalgar Square," after George Hawkins (fl. 1800-1825), engraved by James Baylis Allen (1803-1876), having printed antique label with title to verso; one (1) titled, "The Beacon Tower," after Claude Lorrain (1600-1682), published circa 1860, engraved by George C. Virtue (1794-1868), having printed antique label with title and notation to verso; one (1) depicting Innsbruck (Austria), Maria Theresien Strasse, and St. Anne's Column, produced in the style of the 19th Century Austrian School; and one (1) titled, "Biebrich," from "Halenza's Rhein-Album," by Friedrich von Foltz (1811-1879). Each held in a gold gilt frame under eglomise decorated glass. All having antique gallery label with name DAVID BURWICK and control numbers to bottom verso. Presented in decorative octagonal gilt frames. Sight size measures approximately 5.5" x 5.5".

Dimensions: 9.5 X 9.5 X .75 in.

Condition: Good overall condition, having normal age related surface wear. Frames having normal to moderate wear at corners and edges. Estate fresh to the market.
