STAMPED "IRELAND / DUEY / SHINNICK / MT. CRAWFORD / VA.", SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE PAN, salt-glazed, "1" gallon capacity mark, low, conical form with square rim, incised shoulder ring, and applied curved tab handles. Brushed cobalt horizontal floral design repeated three times, additional cobalt to handle terminals. The pottery of Mathias Ireland, George Duey, and James Shinnick, Mount Crawford, VA. 1868-1875. 5 3/8" H, 10 5/8" D rim.
