Two Christian Dior Haute Couture Two-Piece Ensembles. 2009-12  

The twenty-five lots of Dior haute couture in this auction (Lots 46-70) represent the work of nearly every creative director at the House of Dior.

This lot includes four haute couture items: a dress and jacket, top and pants.  

THE FIRST
Purple silk dress and jacket. The jacket is made with long sleeves, crew neckline, and center front single hook and eye closure. The sleeveless dress is made with vertical panels that open to pleats at the hips. The dress closes at the center back with a zipper.

THE SECOND  
Top and pants of black silk. The top is made with long sleeves, crew neckline, and center back closure. The long pants close with a hook and eye and zipper.

Condition:  THE FIRST  The overall condition is very good with some signs of light wear throughout. A small spot the size of a pin hole at the bottom of the skirt in the front.  THE SECOND  The overall condition is very good with some very light snagging in middle of the collar. The pants are in very good condition with light signs of wear.    Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
