Description

A 1968 first edition poster dress designed by Harry Gordon and Allen Ginsberg. The dress is made of cellulose and rayon mesh with black and white pop art graphic of a gesturing hand, screen printed with Allen Ginsberg's poem "Uptown, N.Y." The dress has a sack style silhouette with Velcro fastening at the left shoulder. The dress is unused and folded inside its original packaging along with two paper inserts. One insert has black and white images of models showing the other styles of poster dress, and the other is pink with instructions on how to use the dress. Labeled. London.
