A Chippendale carved walnut tall chest of drawers Possibly Lancaster County, PA, circa 1790
(H: 60 in. W: 42 1/2 in. D: 22 1/4 in.)
Molded top, three short drawers, over two short drawers, over four graduated long drawers, fluted quarter columns, molded base, shaped ogee feet.

Condition
nice even surface overall; top with some dark stains and spots of abraded / worn finish - possibly water marks; cornice with evidence of repaired cracks / splits and reinforcement; a few patches to drawer face corners; brasses are replaced with evidence of additional screw holes; a scroll to back foot on right-facing side with split; evidence of glue repair to front right-facing foot; front left-facing foot with repaired break and patch; repaired break and scuffing to back left-facing foot
