Composite mask of bamboo, breadfruit bark, glue, and paper. The inside of the mask has been lined with pencil and ink sketches on paper by the artist. From the Baining people of Papua New Guinea, for use in fire dance ceremony. Sold from the collection of Prof. Laurence P. Rathsack, possibly collected in the field. Mid 20th century. 23"x13"
