Consolacion Quezada Native American (Born 1933) Mata Ortiz style pottery pottery olla with incised rim and round base signed under base. Consolacion Quezada de Corona was the oldest sister of Juan Quezada. Juan taught her the basics of how to pot in the early 1970s. Then she learned more from her brother Nicolas. Consolacion usually made large ollas with red and black designs. She taught all her children to pot but it is said that Mauro, the youngest, appears to have the most talent. 10 1/2"H x 9"Diam.
