Pre-Columbian, Central Coast Peru, Proto-Nazca, ca. 500 to 300 BCE. A beautiful textile tunic made from woven camelid fiber to display a rectangular form adorned with a central lozenge motif in hues of crimson, steel blue, maize, and aubergine. The clothing presents a rhomboid design in the middle surrounded by 3 steppe motif borders. A short fringe additionally adorns the shorter peripheries of the tunic.
