Pre-Columbian gold Tairona Tumbaga figural finial depicting a seated male figure with a crocodile mask and a large parrot on shoulders of figure, decorative open-work motifs. 4" H x 1.625" W x 4" D. Split in tail feathers. Comprised of approx 69.75% gold (equivalent to 14K gold). Approx 85.5 dwt = 77.92 grams. This piece has been tested via Niton XL3t / XRF Analyzer: Gold: Au 69.75 / Silver: Ag 17.79 / Copper: Cu 12.46 and Gold: Au 96.07 / Copper: Cu 3.93 , photo in images.
