Gerald Gooch (American b. 1933) Modernist Drawing. Signed and dated. Gooch's unique realistic style was made famous with his 1966 Time Magazine cover of Juan Marchal throwing a pitch using multiple images to conveymotion. Gooch was an artist, an illustrator, and a teacher. He exhibited and won prizes at many prominent California exhibitions. He was a teacher at the San Francisco Art Institute for many years.
