THREE TAYLOR & HUNTINGTON CIVIL WAR STEREOVIEWS


The scarce albumen photograph views of from 'The War For the Union, Photographic War History 1861-1865,' published by Taylor & Huntington:

1) Jeff Davis. Photograph taken soon after his capture #1453.

2) Effect of Yankee Shell on the 'Teazer' #483.

3) Railroad Depot at Nashville, Tenn. #6652.

Most, if not all, of the albumen photographs on these stereo views published by Taylor and Huntington and the War Photograph & Exhibition Company are from negatives taking during the war under the supervision of photographers Matthew B. Brady, the most famous photographer of the Civil War, and Alexander Gardner.
