Description
Pre-Columbian, Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Classic to Late Classic Period, ca. 300 to 900 CE. A hand-carved greenstone figure of abstract form seated upon a wide base. The head exhibits incised features to imbue the stone with an anthropomorphic presentation, and slightly raised arms and legs bear pleasingly smooth surfaces. Size: 1.7" W x 2.9" H (4.3 cm x 7.4 cm)

Condition
Abrasions and light nicks, with softening to finer details on head, otherwise intact and very good. Nice preservation to figural form and great stone colors.
