1911 TYPE AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 11.25mm. S# 32003. Standard configuration w/ 5" bbl. Norwegian crowned “7” proof and crowned “K” are on left side of slide which is also marked w/ cal., model & serial number. Right side is marked “1945” over “A” in a square. Pistol approximates the Colt Model 1911 except that takedown release has long lower extension w/ cut in black painted beech wood grips. All major parts are stamped w/ last 3 digits of serial number. MAGS. 1 blued steel 7 rd. w/ pinned baseplate & lanyard ring. CONDITION: very fine, retaining nearly all of what appears to be its original dark black finish w/ scattered brown speckling. French gray finished hammer, extractor w/ bright blue which is also found on grip screws. Grips retain most of their black finish. Bore is bright & shiny. Mechanically good. (22-4286/MGM). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
